HIGH-LEVEL SEGMENT TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE TO MINISTERS

Having in mind that delegations that are not assisted by their diplomatic missions in Poland would face certain difficulties in providing adequate transportation for their ministers attending the High-Level Segment, the host country will be able to provide limited support in this regard thanks to the eco-cars fleet available during the Conference. The vehicles dedicated for this purpose are hydrogen and CNG (liquid gas) ones to reduce greenhouse gas emissions during the event. A mobile hydrogen filling station will be located on the Poznan International Fair grounds next to the parking area (outside UN zone). Those who are interested what kind of advanced technology is used for this purpose are welcome to visit the filling station during the Conference.

The transportation for ministers between place of stay and Conference venue will be provided upon request on a daily basis. Please note that due to limited number of cars available, the vehicles can not be allocated permanently to specific delegation for the whole HLS period. Therefore we kindly ask you for understanding and flexibility while submitting transportation requests. Such service will be provided as a first-come first-serve on a daily basis. The delegations are kindly requested to contact the transportation service desk located in Hall 15 (level A) for more details and arrangements. You may find the location of the transportation desk in participants guide available for download from UNFCCC website here.
